Rob Schiffmann & Jon Rothstein are better known as the duo, THE HILLARY STEP. As recently seen with “Ready to 30 Rock” performed LIVE on NBC’s Today Show, their songs deliver accessible Acoustic Pop flavor, while blending straightforward melodies with clever and complex lyrics that are immediately relatable. As a band they built a loyal following throughout New England, the Midwest, and primarily around their home base of New York City, at such storied venues as Central Park Summer Stage, The Bitter End, Arlene’s Grocery, Caffe Vivaldi, Kenny’s Castaways and The Lion’s Den. Along with their many unreleased songs/DEMOS, they are currently working on a follow-up to their two CD releases — Knee Deep in Giants and Note to Self; available on Spotify/Apple Music.

30 Rockin’
Back in November (2024), we released a song all about NBC’s Today Show called Ready to 30 Rock. Less than 12 hours later, their team had discovered it and Hoda Kotb’s featured it in her “Morning Boost” segment (SURPRISE!).
