The Hillary Step - Bio

JON ROTHSTEIN (ASCAP) (Bass, vocals, songwriting) has been perfoming since his 2nd grade rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, which eventually led to singing in choruses, performing in children's theater with original music and ultimately writing music on his own. Jon followed the acting path, acting in musicals at Stuyvesant High School and ultimately starring in the ABC Afterschool Special, "Getting Even: A Wimp's Revenge," and appearing on Broadway as an ensemble member in Joshua Sobol's short-lived "Ghetto". He has sung a cappella with the Dissipated Eight at Middlebury College, where he majored in music.
